Wall Plate:-Refers to the mounting plate that attaches to the wall to hold a bracket lamp. 2. Walnut: 3. Wheel Engraving 4. Wick Trimming:-The act of cutting or shaping the wick to produce a better shaped flame (and to remove carbon build-up), thus producing better light. Often done with specially made scissors. Also refers to a special adaptation of many burners which allows the gallery to be raised to expose the wick without removing the chimney and in some cases, the shade. The burner can also be lighted in this fashion. 6. Wick Tube-The part of the burner into which the wick is inserted and adjusted. Supports the wick and prevents the flame from migrating down into the fuel source. 7.
